After much speculation, it has been revealed Beyonce Knowles will perform on the Pyramid Stage at this year's Glastonbury music festival. The star's label, Columbia Records, revealed the news despite organisers of the event being yet to announce the official line up. In a statement, Knowles said: "This really is the biggest festival in the world and I cannot wait to perform there ... I'm pumped just thinking about that huge audience." Tickets for the gathering sold out in approximately four hours in October in preparation for the Somerset festival on June 22nd to 26th. |
