Angel McQueen, 15 years old, stands at 5ft 7 with long brown hair, tanned spotless skin except for a beauty mark on her right cheek. Angel was brought up by Carmel whom she believes is her mum and live with along side Bart and Myra.
Angel is sat in the lounge watching Tv when they is a knock at the door, she answers it.
at the door is Theresa.

Angel: Yes.
Theresa: Angel (smiling)
Angel: yes, can i help you.
Theresa: You guna let me in then it's freezin out here.

Theresa pushes past and goes into the lounge draging her pink suitcase behind her.

Theresa: Where is everyone? Is Carm in?
Angel: No she's at work.
Theresa: Good.

Theresa sits down in the chair.

Theresa: My feet are so killing me, I just had to walk here from the bus stop in these heels.
Angel: Sorry you exactly are you?
Theresa: You don't know who i am?
Angel: No
Theresa: I'm your...I'm your second cousin Theresa.
Angel: Oh.

Angel sits back down on the couch watchin the tv.

Theresa: So is everyone going to be back?
Angel: Do you mind i'm tryin to watch. (pointing at the tv)

Theresa stays quiet and looks around the room, she notices that the photo of her that was once on above the fire place is no longer there.

Moments later Carmel steps through the door, instantly seeing Theresa.

Carmel: What are you doing here?
Theresa: I'm out.
Angel: We can see that.
Carmel: Angel.
Angel: What!
Carmel: leave now.
Theresa: I want to see Myra first.
Carmel: JUST GET OUT, YOUR NOT WANTED HERE, GET OUT BEFORE I RING THE POLICE.
Theresa: Carm.
CARMEL: OUT NOW!!
Theresa: Fine.

Theresa gets off the chair grabs her suit case and leaves.

Angel: What the hell, why did do just throw her out?
Carmel: Can you just go to the shops and get some tomato soup.
Angel: Why can’t you go?
Carmel: Angel.
Angel: fine okay I’ll go.
Carmel: thank you, 2 tins will be just fine.

Carmel hands her a 10 pound note.

Angel: don’t you have any fink smaller?
Carmel: no I don’t.
Angel: ok.

Angel goes to price n slice, she's at the till paying for the 2 tins of soup when a guy comes in closes the door and pointing a knife at her.

Guy: GET ON THE FLOOR! YOU (to cashier woman) OPEN THE TILL.
Angel: Please just let me go.

The guy looks at Angel.

Guy: I Said get on the floor.
Angel: and i said i want to go, please just let me out.
Guy: Oh the cockey girl we have here, think you can flutter your eye lashes and get what you want.
Angel: well sometimes yeah actually.

the guy puts the knife to her face.
angel gives a scared squirm noise.

Guy: Angel Valentine, you say one more word and you won't be pretty anymore.
Angel: How do you know my name?

The guy looks right at Angel in the eyes, runs the knife down her face and down her body stopping on her belly just right to her belly button.

Angel: Please stop.
Guy: hurt does it?

Angel nods her head as tears start to stream down her face.

Guy: Good.

then the guy pushes the knife harder stabbing her, as the blood trips from her he pulls the knife out opens the door and runs away down the ally.
Angel falls the the floor screaming, the shop woman crawls from behind the counter to her and rings the ambulance whilst trying to apply preasure to the stab wound.

Angel is rushed to hopital.

Angel is in hospital lying in the bed with a drip attached to her. Carmel, Myra are sat by her bedside as Angel comes round.

Carmel: Hey sweetheart.
Angel: I'm sorry
Myra: Hey it wasn't your fault.
Carmel: No it was mine, it should be me lying here not you, i should have gone to get the soup.
Myra: It was no ones fault other than the scum bag you did this.

The police enter the room.

Police man: Angel Valentine?
Myra: Can't you wait until she's better to speak to her, she's only just woken up.
Policeman: The earlier we get a statment for Angel the quicker we can find the person who did this.
Angel: It's fine, I can do this.
Carmel: You sure?
Angel: I was at the till paying for the soup when he came in closed the door and started waving the knife around.
Policeman: What sort of knife?
Angel: Pen knife i think, black with writting on it.
Policeman: What did this writting say?
Angel: I don't know i couldn't see what it said but i begged him to let me leave and he wouldn't he told me to shut up or i wouldnt be pretty anymore, I should of but i didn't i had to open my big gob.

Tears start to stream down Angel's face.

Carmel: you sure you can carry on? (wiping her tears away from her cheeks)
Angel: He knew my name Angel Valentine he said.
Policeman: And did you reconise the man?
Angel: No, I've never seen him before in my life.
Policeman: Can you discribe him to us?
Angel: Light brown hair, short back and side you might call it, he had a big puffy coat on, black gloves.
Policeman: okay thank you Angel, We will let you know if we catch him.
Carmel: Thank you Officer.

He walks out.

Myra: well done love, they will catch him.

Theresa walks in.

Myra: Theresa.
Carmel: Get out your not welcome here.
Theresa: I've come to see her, she's just been stabbed.
Carmel: Leave.
Angel: Mum, she can stay if she wants.
Carmel: You going or do i have to get security?
Angel: Mum.

Theresa turns around and leaves.

Myra: She's out?
Carmel: Yes and i don't want her any where near me or angel.
Angel: I can see who i like.
Carmel: No you don't not her your not, you'll just end up getting hurt.
Angel: what that suppose to mean?
Carmel: Just do as your told.

2 days later Angel is let out of hospital. She is walking past the Skate park when she spots Theresa sat down on the wall.

Angel: Hey, you okay? (sitting next to her)
Theresa: You shouldn't be talking to me. (wiping her tears from her face)
Angel: I can talk to who i like and your family i don't even know about, I want to know you.
Theresa: Carm will go mad.
Angel: Whats the worst that can happen.
Theresa: Your beautiful.
Angel: Thank.
Theresa: You look just like him.
Angel: who?
Theresa: Your dad.
Angel: Oh yeah, people keep sayin that to me. I wish i knew him, Mums great but wish i had a dad.

Theresa started getting the guilt feeling.

Theresa: I'm sorry i got to go.
Angel: Why, was it something i said?
Theresa: I'm sorry.
Angel: What for?

Theresa gets up and walk away as fast as she could.

2 hours later Angel is at home when the door bell goes, Angel answers it.

Theresa: Is anyone else in?
Angel: No.
Theresa: Good.

Theresa goes in and sits down.

Theresa: Theres something you should know
Angel: What?
Theresa: Sits down first.

Angel sits down on the couch.

Theresa: Your dad, calvin, Didn't even want you.
Angel: How do you know that?
Theresa: Coz he wanted to get rid of you, he wanted an abortion, I thought he loved me, he was so perfect but he hurt me.
Angel: What you on about?
Theresa: Kathleen Khloe Angel Mcqueen, is your real name, the name i gave you, your my daughter, i gave birth to you.
Angel: No, what, you lier, you twisting bitch.
Theresa: It's true, I killed Calvin, I shot your dad so when you was born Carm took over stantched you from me named you Angel, when mum and me and bart got you christened in the name of Kathleen Khloe Angel Mcqueen, carm when spare, well she accepted it for 2 months waited for me to get attched to you then shoved me inside and took you back, all i got was a photo every year of you on your birthday from Mercy until you was 8.
Angel: No, No, No.

Carmel and Myra walk through the door.

Angel: I'm living in a life of lies.
Carmel: theresa what have you been saying?
Theresa: The truth.
Angel: And is it?
Theresa: I had to, she's my daughter you stole her from me.
Carmel: You stole my husband from me.
Angel: Oh my god.
Carmel: She's your by blood but not my name, not by anything else all you did was give birth to her.
Angel: I'm dreaming this, please let me wake up now.
Myra: Darling it's not a dream, it's true, all of it is.

Ooo like the photo from mercy every year bit. Poor Angel finding out in true "McQueen fashion" lol.

The next day Angel is writting in her diary.

Diary: OMFG in the space of a day my life has been turned upside down. 1st i found out i had a cousin then found out that "cousin" is infact actually my mum and that Carmel (mum) is actually my cousin. It's so confusing. Also Theresa (my bio logical mum) murderd my dad before i was even born oh and my real name is Kathleen Khloe Angel McQueen Not Angel Valentine. I'm sooo f**ked up right now!

Theresa enters the room, Angel closes the diary.

Angel: What do you want?
Theresa: Seeing if your okay.
Angel:I'm fine.
Theresa: You sure?
Angel: Yes i'm sure.

Angel: Well your here now and thats what counts.
Theresa: Yeah.

Theresa kisses Angel on the head then opens the door to leave the room.

Angel: so what do i get called now am i Angel or Kathleen?
Theresa: What ever you like to be called.

Angel smiles at her then Theresa leaves the room.

1 hour later angel goes downstairs to the smell of a sweet smel. Theresa is in the kitchen with an apron on.

Angel: What are you doing?
Theresa: Baking.
Angel: What?
Theresa: Fairy cakes

A big smile goes across angels face.

Angel: Yum i love fairy cakes. What Topping?
Theresa: Pink iceing and white and pink stars.
Angel: Omg can you like read my mind.
Theresa: your fav too?
Angel: Yep.

They both smile at each other.
Angel connects with Theresa more than she ever has with Carmel she then realises all is true and feels that Theresa is her mum.
She decides on being called Angel Kathleen Khloe McQueen and later tell everyone what she wants her new name to be. Carmel takes Angel to the register office to Change her name.

That evening.

Diary: Today was good, My life is sorted i am now called Angel Kathleen Khloe (yes thats Chloe but with a K) McQueen.

The next day Angel is at school walking down the corridor carrying her school books when 3 year 7 lads run past knocking the books and notes out of her arms and onto the floor.
one of the lads laughs and says " slapper" then they disappear through the double doors at the end of the corridor.
Angel scrambles to the floor to pick them up.

Girl: Let me help (bending down picking the notes off the floor that had scatterd across the floor)
Angel: Thanks.
Girl: No problem.

Once Angel had hold of the books and notes again she takes a proper look at the girl. She has long brown hair, golden skin, pink lip gloss coressing her lips and a small beauty mark on her chin, half unbottoned shirt just showing her cleavage and a short skirt just enough to cover her pert bum.

Girl: I'm Lucy (smiling)
Angel: Angel, I'm Angel (smiling back)
Lucy: Cool.
Angel: I haven't seen you around here before.
Lucy: First day today.
Angel: Ah, You made any mates yet?
Lucy: I have now (smiling)

Angel just smiles back giving a little giggle.

Lucy: I better be off to math, don't wana be late on my first day.
Angel: Yeah defo not.
Lucy: You wana go for a Milkshake after school?
Angel: Yeah sure.
Lucy: cool, meet you at the gate at 3?
Angel: Okay.
Lucy: Laters (giving a little twiggle star wave)

Angel watches her walk down the corridor mainly staring at her skirt swooshing about as she walks and as she disappears through the double doors at other end of the corridor.
Angel leans back onto locker behind her still staring at the doors.

Angel: Say somthing funny, say something sweet but don't say you love me just yet. (smiling)

At 3 Angel meets Lucy. They are walking through the park linking arms.

Lucy: So let me get this, your cousin Carmel has been bringing you up as hers and your bio logical mum Theresa shot your dad before you was born and outta jail n back in your life.
Angel: Yep, such a screwed up family.
Lucy: Don't worry every family has their faults.
Angel: Hmm i guess, so how about you?
Lucy: Well we moved coz mum and dad wanted a fresh start, dad cheated with my lil bro's schools secutary then tried breaking them up after mum forgave dad by lying about being pregnant. so here we are.
Angel: glad it's not just my family.
Lucy: yup.

They reach the village and go into relish.

Lucy: What you want?
Angel: Strawberry milkshake please.
Lucy: Okies.

Angel takes a seat whilst Lucy orders. A few moments later Lucy sits at the table.

Angel: What you gettin?
Lucy: Strawberry milkshake and a bowl of fries.

Angel takes £4.50 out of her purse.

Angel: Here (holding the money out)
Lucy: No kepp your money this ones on me.
Angel: Aww thanks.
Lucy: Thats what friends are for.

The waitress puts the milkshakes and fries on the table.

Angel and Lucy: Thanks
Lucy: So you got a boyfriend or anything?
Angel: Nope no boys (taking sips of her milkshake inbetween each word)
Lucy: Aw how come?
Angel: Just not found the right one.
Lucy: I'll find you the right one.
Angel: How about you?
Lucy: They is 1 lad in my biology class he's really fit, kept staring at me all the time and whisperin to his mate.
Angel: maybe he likes you.
Angel's thoughts: I hope not coz your mine.
Lucy: I hope so too.
Angel: What! (Coming round from her thoughts)
Lucy: I hope he does like me, I don't even know his name.
Angel: What does he look like?
Lucy: Black hair, brown eyes, earing in his right ear.

Angel spurts her milkshake out of her mouth.

Angel: Ryan Ashworth!
Lucy: You know him?
Angel: Do i know him? The whole school frickin knows him.
Lucy: Why?
Angel: He got this girl pregnant last year then got his mates to beat her up so she would loose the baby.
Lucy: Really?
Angel: Yeah it was in the papers and everything.
Lucy: But he still very much my type and i'll make sure i won't get preg.
Angel: Just don't get hurt.
Lucy: I won't.

Lucy looks at her watch.

Lucy: Christ, is that the time?, I gotta get home.
Angel: Oh okay.
Lucy: Cya tomorrow at lunch (putting her coat on)
Angel: Yep okay. Cya.
Lucy: Bye.

Lucy leaves leaving Angel sat alone picking at the fries and slurping the last of her milkshake.
Ryan Ashworth and a few of his mates enter Relish.
Ryn is staring at Angel and Angel stares back, Ryan smiles at her until he walks past her.
Angel stops staring at him grabs her bag and walks out.
