Chapter 1 Kellie stared out of the window of her car. Welcome to Hollyoaks: the sign at the top said. Her shoulder-length blonde hair shimmered in the sun. She pulled in and rolled the window down. 'Excuse me!' she asked a smallish blonde with long hair and a bump. 'Could you tell me were Chez Chez is?' 'Sure, it's just over there, nice wheels,' replied the girl. 'Thanks birthday present, Kellie Dixon, I'm Cheryl's cousin.' 'Theresa McQueen.' 'Cheers for the directions.' Kellie turned the car around into the parking lot behind her cousin's club. Kellie walked up the stairs where two barstaff were flicking peanuts at one another. once the tall, rather handsome barman realised she was standing there watching them he asked: :'What can i get you love, sex on the beach, or a slow, long comfortable scr......' ' Rhys your sacked if you don't stop flirtin with her.' came a brash Irish, male accent. 'Why. I there something I've missed.' 'Just don't....' 'Because I'm his little cousin, isn't that right Brendan?' 'Kellie, what are you doing here?' Kellie stood there willing herself to say something, but no matter what she tried she could never really find the courage to speak to her elder cousin Brendan. something spooked her about him. 'Is Cheryl here?' she finally said. 'Nah, not just now, she'll be back soon though.' 'Thanks.' Brendan went back to the office. 'Here,' said Jacqui, passing her a glass of vodka and coke. 'I think you need this. Are you OK?' 'Yeah, I just don't like him. And he doesn't like me.' An excited screech left someones mouth. Kellie turned round and realised that at last her elder cousin and best friend Cheryl was finally there to greet her. 'Kellz, your finally here, have you see.....' 'Yes, I have. Why didn't you tell me he was here?' 'Because you wouldn't have come. I just wish it was under better circumstances. Look you two have to be in the same room sooner or later. "So is this all you have." asked Cheryl, letting her into the house she shared wih Brendan, Lindsay and Malachy. "Yeah, your sure it's not too much," asked Kellie. Cheryl looked at the 3 cases. "Of course not. It's only until you get a place at halls any way. Mal can take the couch for change. Kellz?" "What do you want Cheryl?" "Why would you think i wanted something." "Because I know you." "I'm thinking of organising a charity talent show. You still sing don't you?" "Not infront of people, Chez I couldn't." "But..." "You have an amazing voice. How you doing love?" said a gruff irish accent. "Mal, it's amazing to see you again, sorry i can't stop and chat, I have to go and register with the college." "What is it that your doing?" "Languages." "Are you serious?" "Yes I am." Kellie opened the door of her car, got in an drove off in the direction of the college, which she passed on the way in. Kellie walked into the college. It was quiet, but then again she had got their a little later than expected. 2 hours later to be exact. There was only only one other person there. A rather bulky, young man. "Excuse me, can you help me for two minutes...." find out who the mystery man is in the next chapter kellie xxxxx |
