Carley Stenson who played Steph Dean in Hollyoaks for 10 years has said in a DS interview that if there was a way to go back she would, she said Hollyoaks is like her second home and she misses the banter and fun she had on the show
BK stated in a separate interview that Steph would be his top character to return and says that she should never have been killed off and he wouldn't have done

I would LOVE Carley returning. If they could somehow say she survived I would welcome a comeback. Would settle for another ghostly return also.

I agree with BK - Steph shouldn't have been killed off, but she'd never have left Tom so maybe that's why

I liked steph but it would be totally unrealistic for her to return, even if she had survived the fire she was dying of cancer so would be dead by now anyway
