Hollyoaks star Greg Wood has revealed his worst ever job was sweeping up sawdust in a factory.

The actor has appeared in Brookside and Coronation Street and now stars as bad boy Trevor Royle in Hollyoaks, but when he was starting out as an actor he had to do part time jobs to make ends meet.

Greg told Inside Soap magazine: "The worst job was probably sweeping up in a carpentry factory - I did that for a day, and even labouring was more fun.

"I quickly had enough because of all the sawdust flying everywhere!"

And Greg has been on Hollyoaks before tough guy Trevor rolled into town.

He revealed: "The first job I ever got was on Hollyoaks 13 years ago. It was a smallish part, but a fairly big storyline - Luke Morgan's rape.

"I grassed up the main guy and he got done.

"Being back at Hollyoaks now is like coming full circle. There are faces here that I recognise from the first time round!"
