Hollyoaks won nothing! Thoughts? Should they have won 1/2/3 awards? or is Hollyoaks not good enough to compete with the other 4 soaps? Are the results unfair? Should the voting system be different? Where the wrong people nominated in the first place? Should they look at appealing to a wider audience rather than just teens? Does Hollyoaks need a shake up and if so, how? My view is that I thought they won have won atleast two - Sexiest male with Dodger and Best Villain with Silas. |

I wasn't expecting HO to get any awards apart from Silas (Who I thought was a dead cer). So I am shocked about that. Hopefully producers look at this and notice just how s*** of a job ES is doing. |

Danny Mac V Scott Maslan = Danny should have won hands down imo. ![]() Silas should have won best villain aswell and Emmett for best actor. Full list of winners: Sexiest male - EastEnders: Scott Maslen (Jack Branning) Sexiest female - Coronation Street: Michelle Keegan (Tina McIntyre) Villain of the year - Coronation Street: Andrew Lancel (Frank Foster) Best actor - Emmerdale: Danny Miller (Aaron Livesy) Best actress - Coronation Street: Alison King (Carla Connor) Best comedy performance - Coronation Street: Stephanie Cole (Sylvia Goodwin) Best young performance - EastEnders: Lorna Fitzgerald (Abi Branning) Spectacular scene of the year - Emmerdale: John & Moira's car accident Best on-screen partnership - EastEnders: Jake Wood and Jo Joyner (Max Branning and Tanya Jessop) Best newcomer - Coronation Street: Natalie Gumede (Kirsty Soames) Best exit - Coronation Street: Katherine Kelly (Becky McDonald) Best dramatic performance - EastEnders: Jo Joyner (Tanya Jessop) Best storyline - Emmerdale: Jackson's choice Best single episode - Coronation Street: Becky's Final Farewell Lifetime achievement award - EastEnders: Pam St Clement Special achievement award - EastEnders: Simon Ashdown, series consultant writer Best British soap - EastEnders I don't watch Corrie so cannot comment on this Frank but I have read a few CorrieOaks fans saying the Silas SL was better. I think Eastenders just have a huge following aswell they could write the crapest of SL's and still win....give them a Jesus potato and it would win best storyline easily! It wouldn't suprise me if the cast themselves sat there and voted for themselves lol. |

Silas should of won best villain, no-one was better than him, what could beat a serial killer in a small village, certainly not Corrie's Frank Foster, nasty piece of work for sure, but Silas killed 4 women and walked around for a year as the (so called) village's affable grandfather.....I am so shocked Jeff didn't win, that is ridiculous |

Didn't Frank get killed himself? And by his own mum? *Sigh* I think everyone's shocked Jeff didn't win. As for the rest, hopefully it makes the Hollyoaks team step things up a little. They did so well in 2008 and 2007/2008 were the best years by far. How have they not realised this? |

Not winning any awards should make ES think about the direction she's taking the show But I am mad about Silas not winning....I thought that was the one certainty that HO had in the bag!!! Stupid viewers, Frank wasn't in Silas' league |

Considering they drummed up alot of support on twitter for votes aswell it goes to show they NEED to keep the older viewers onside aswell I think. Alot of people have turned off in the last 3 months and just go in and out of the show. I think they need to bring back one popular character from the past and draw in some of the old school hollyoaks fans again. |

Me too Who do you think would be a good character to bring back and grab the older viewers back and what would the reason for their return be? |
