He seems more interested when Scott is dressed up. I wonder if this is part of the big story line and his family wont approve or something.

There are gay men just like Mitchell in the real world. This did come out of nowhere, but we see Mitchell was raised by a homophobic grandfather, so whether he's gay, pan or into drag queens, that's who he is.

I guess he hasn't come across many people like Scott before. I don t think he actually knows what he wants for certain he just likes Scott when dressed as Anita. Guess he is still finding out who he actually is.
