Its good seeing Tom in some fun scenes, he reminds me so much of Max. He needs an OB

He reminds me of Max too, he even looks a bit like him but he does need an OB type friend to have hair brained adventures with like Max and OB used to have - who can forget the classic "Get Down Off That Thing" LOL

I don't think he is right exactly but Romeo does have that cheeky chappy look. I would rather a brainy Alfie type character.

Of the options on screen, I think Yasmine would be the most fun friend for Tom. Rather than try to recreate the beloved Max and OB friendship, they need to develop something new.
