Wasn't the 2008 music the same as the later 2006 music? Also, despite being someone who loves all music, part of the 2016 music has always sounded a bit off for me - there's an added "da, daaa, da, daaaa!" part that never fitted in for me (it's played when the McQueen characters were shown singing, and towards the end of the titles.) If I was in control, I'd try to go back to the whole "flashy backgrounds that have something to do with the character" titles from late 2010 to around 2013-ish. There were flashes of this in 2014 to 2016, but not as much as too many people shared a title spot. |

There is too many characters so the music is disjointed I would go back to the 2000-2002 rolling credits, they were the best |

The music is a bit slowed down, they aren't awful but I would say 1995, 2000, 2006 and 2018/19 were the best credits It needs to be slowed down as it goes too quick to get the ever burgeoning cast all in |

Finally caught it in full; too many characters in too many quick shots - I didn't even realise who some characters were until I slowed it down. Some of them don't even look like title shots, more like clips of an episode that didn't air. Sienna is still doing the exact same thing - it's almost as if Anna never moved from those leafs, and they just filmed the new titles around her. One of Romeo's shots looks like it was pasted over from his previous title shot, but I'll have to check (where he turns to face the camera.) Brenda (I think it's her) does have a solo shot, which could be deemed as sinister (sitting alone), but it goes by so fast, it didn't register to me, and it's not on long enough for me to determine if it is sinister, without looking again. On the plus side, I like how it essentially begins with Tony by the Hollyoaks sign (who else should welcome us to Hollyoaks?) and the McQueens' karaoke, and the Lovedays' movie night - two of the weakest title shots, in my opinion, have been changed. |
