Most definitely. We all know Hollyoaks loves death storylines, censored death storylines mostly, so the mind boggles at the death count by December 31st, 2019.

The death count was 15 or 16 for 2018, way OTT, to think that 20 years back in 1998 NO ONE died

To think back in the golden era of Hollyoaks we might have got 2 or 3 deaths, for years now the death count has been double figures and that's just not believable

I think there was no deaths in 98 cause of the amount of deaths in 97,Ollie,Stan and Dawn Hollyoaks now should learn a lesson from that.

Death storylines used to be shock value episodes but it's so frequent in Hollyoaks that it's rarely a shock when there's a death, it's like "Oh, another death...yawn"

I know what you mean the shock value has gone when a serial killer turns up or the big bad it is right who is up for the chopping block now.

Yeah that's true, a few actors are either leaving or have been axed/written out it's like the producers think "instead of writing them out how about we kill them in some disaster/serial killer plot" on the subject of serial killers are we really meant to believe 4 have inhabited one small village?!

I know it would be the most famous village having so many killers in it.
