I think darren's character can pull off every role...comedy, serious, happy, sad, in love etc which is brilliant!

ATD was amazing in the scenes with Hannah, Darren is a great character.

So Darren has just turned his back on his kids? Is that the end of that storyline or does it seem odd? Why have Suzanne return just to leave again? I thought this storyline was making Darren grow up and would be the making of him....
Thoughts?

No one's posted in this thread for ages..but I feel the need to say Darren is incredible.
Definitely my favourite male character (along with Rhys.) ATD's one of the best-if not the best- actors Hollyoaks have and he's still much too under-rated.

I agree totally underrated and underused yet super talented. I would like to see Darren regain his fun side again and see him a bit more away from Nancy. I don't believe Nancy is the right one for him and think his character has lots alot of charm and personality since getting with Nancy because she is so serious. I love Nancys character to bits but I don't feel the way forward for either of them is a family. I tend to think Nancy holds his character back alot he is better playing the field so to speak. I would like to see maybe him Rhys, Tony and a few of the other guys go camping or climbing in which one of the "other guys" died in an accident. We rarely get to see things go wrong which is accidental so that is something I would like to see. Maybe they go climbing and Josh goes along and lets Rhys slip and he hurts himself messing around or one of the other characters dies (wouldn't want Darren, Tony or Rhys to die) but one of the "others" would be acceptable. I also miss string vest & chain Darren, yeah grow him up but they changed him to much for my liking and he has become a background character rather than someone taking the big storylines which is wrong. Plus why have the character have twins for them to just go away again.

Oh wow, I wish you worked for Hollyoaks! That would be my perfect storyline. I also agree with you on the Nancy thing. I do like them together now, but it's kind of the same with Rhys and Jacqui as well. He's kind of lost what made him Darren._________________
