I like the McDean storyline, too. I'm also heavily into the Beth and Rhys story. And I'm intrigued to see what happens when the truth comes out surrounding Mercedes and Tony, Russ and Tina. I think that'll set off some explosions for sure.

I don't particulary have a favourite character either, but like you, I like the McQueens amongst various other individuals.

Glad to see someone else into the storyline! Care to explain to me what's going on regarding it at the moment? I haven't watched an episode in a shortwhile since moving out to a friends place who has no TV, damnit! From what I can remember they'd admitted to each other how they felt, but that's as far as I am. What's this talk about Rhys hooking up with Mercedes?

After confessing their feelings and sleeping together under the christmas tree...Beth decided to go to Thailand with Gilly. Rhys begged Beth not to leave with Gilly as she loves him and it's not fair to lie to Gilly, then Beth disappeared when the taxi arrived and Rhys was rushing Gilly saying don't wait she may have had second thoughts...

But as it's Hollyoaks... Beth turned up and said her goodbyes... now she's back packing in Thailand :( BUT... she's coming back!!!

Thanks for the catch-up, I appreciate it. It's a terrible thing to go back to watching episodes of a fave show when you've missed out on quite a bit! But if someone can fill me in then I don't feel I've missed out in the end.

So she's coming back? Interesting. I think perhaps she needed to get away, they needed that breathing space. Being in each others face all the time was never going to make things any easier between them. So I'll be looking forward to seeing what happens upon her return, especially as Rhys will be throwing himself at Mercedes in order to forget about Beth.

I think it's a little harsh of her to have used Gilly to block out her feelings for Rhys, especially with him being Rhys's best friends and all. But I suppose it's over between her and Gilly now?
