I'm a bit rubbish with Photoshop so I use Paint Shop Pro. I think you can buy it at PC world or any computer place really.

Paintshop Pro is definately easier than Photoshop; although, you can do alot more in Photoshop, which is probably why I invested in it. We use it in the gallery aswell, people tend to get the hang of it after a few sessions, although; there are those that have no artistic talent/influence AT ALL.
